Detoxification of a child’s organs
What is DETOXICATION? It means cleansing the body of waste products that accumulate in it over a long period.
If parents become interested in nutrition as an issue supporting their children in an already embarked upon endeavor, whatever the focus may be, they can sometimes fall into a unilateral preference in the area of sports for stimulants, supplements and a high proportion of sports nutrition. This is due to the fact that they must cover the high energy demands of the children,
who need to be kept in a performance-ready state, and as parents we see it as a fundamental objective, if possible, to ensure that they grow to the maximum extent, that they have the entire skeleton covered with high-quality and highly functional muscles and firm tendons and joints, adapted to the high physical demands.
We come to have the logical feeling that it is necessary to force the greatest number of important compounds, nutrients and building blocks into their bodies to supply what is needed to build a good sporting future. This nutritional trend can often be supported by the efforts of a nutritional consultant to sell us the greatest number of these products, as their clients.
However, other nutritional consultants also advise us to completely eliminate any supplements containing artificial ingredients and focus mainly on the cleansing of the child's body and the maximum functionality of all internal organs. This is seen as the only thing capable of managing the high demands for the long-term, by washing away any toxic substances and preventing the creation of inflammations as the locus of serious subsequent health problems, which can limit a child's activity or even force them to stop altogether.
This is often a great puzzle for parents because they rightly suspect that the nutrition strategy established in a family affects not only the future career, but also the overall quality of their future life. The problem lies in the fact that today we are bombarded by a huge amount of information, diets, nutritional guidelines and dietary strategies from all sides. We must distinguish between proven traditional methods and high-quality, scientifically based information on the one hand, and at the same time be wary of advertising and marketing tricks on the other. This is a huge business and the sophistication of large food corporations can not be underestimated. They are now able to buy media or even falsify scientific studies in order to give their products the green light and earn incredible profits for themselves. At the same time, we can only indulge a child to the extent that our family budget can handle it.
How does one find the right way out of this maze? We can not satisfactorily resolve this fundamental question today in this one article. I can only give some advice based on my own studies and my educational and lifelong experience.
A nutritional strategy for a child can only work effectively if it is sufficiently long term, and at the same time strictly enforced. The foundation should be consuming as much biologically pure food as possible in the optimal composition for child development that is carefully prepared and properly stored. The ingredients of the food should focus on building a high level of immunity of the child.
The quality of the joints, bones, muscles, tendons and blood vessels, thus the musculoskeletal system, is affected both by the functionality of the internal organs of the human body (functional detoxification), as well nourishment prepared from high-quality food (e.g. broths from bone, skin, tendons, herbs and vegetables) and suitably, periodically replenished supplements for joint nutrition in the maximum production quality.
In order to optimize the child's growth and the development of a high-quality corset muscle, it is necessary to constantly engage in supplying a sufficient amount of nutrients and supplements so that all materials needed to create the molecules and cells of these important tissues are represented in the diet. This can only be ensured by very diverse bio-food appropriately supported by high-quality supplements.
Sports nutrition should certainly be represented to some degree. Its advantage is its fast and simple use, compactness and ease of accessibility. As parents, we must continually answer many questions and solve a whole range of dietary problems every day. When you're at a tournament and you find yourself in a situation where you don't have your own food and they only have hot dogs at the food stand, it is always better to use a shaker with high-quality sports supplements products for the child, designed for a specific phase of sporting performance, rather than let a child starve or having to rely only on the buffet. However, we know from experience that children often pressure us to let them have the hot dog. So, if we eventually cave in to the pressure, it is always a better solution to buy the hot dog, but only in combination with sports nutrition. That is better than waiting for half an hour until your child again begins begging, demanding another, and then yet another hot dog. Perhaps you would be surprised how many of them children are able to consume during a two-day tennis or hockey tournament.
When I think back on one tennis tournament for children (boys) in a small town, for children up to ten years old, one unnamed boy stands out in my mind, who in two days ate eleven hot dogs with ketchup, three packets of crisps and seven cans of Semtex brand energy drink served by his father before individual matches, sometimes even during them (right when he wasn't doing well!!!).
I think he also had about a liter and a half of orange juice, he didn't drink or eat anything else during the day.
One of my good friends and I were observing this and called this nutritional strategy "Father attempting to murder his child". When we started talking about it with him, it ended up being more him giving us advice than vice versa. This dietary approach is especially destructive in the fact that the child quickly acquires the habit of eating distinctively flavorful foods. When I asked my son to discretely offer this boy an apple and Canadian blueberries that we had with us, he refused them and just grinned. Normal healthy foods simply didn't taste good to him anymore.
Today I would like to address detoxifying a child's body, or more precisely - the human body in general. By washing away ballast substances and toxins from the body, we clear the way to eliminating problems and to the overall functioning of all systems within the body. Therefore, it should be our first priority with children, even though a child's body is usually very durable, not worn-down and the organs are young and highly functional, which can sometimes cause us to underestimate important nutritional guidelines. However, we need to be responsible as parents and perceive this issue in the way that not just the momentary intake of high-quality foods and their regular and reasonable portions are important, but also the preferences and habits that we build in the child for the rest of their life.
The main means of detoxification procedures are:
- movement
- diet modification (change of menu, diets)
- care for one's mental state and the exclusion of stress
- being in a clean environment
- getting enough sleep
- luid intake
- he consumption of food activating the excretory system
How do you detoxify every organ and never be sick or tired again?
You may have noticed that more and more people, even very young people or even children, are suffering from chronic diseases, cancer and autoimmune diseases.
The most common autoimmune diseases are:
- leukemia, lupus, hemolytic disease
- neural-diabetic and peripheral neuropathy
- Fibromyalgia and muscular dystrophy
- thyroid disease and Hashimoto's Thyroiditis
- Graves' disease
- multiple sclerosis, autism
- Guillain-Barré Syndrome (after the flu vaccination)
- rheumatoid arthritis
- ankylosing spondylitis, Polymyalgia rheumatica
- Pulmonary Wegener's Granulomatosis
- asthma
- ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease
- pancreatitis, diabetes
- skin excema, psoriasis, vitiligo
Under optimal circumstances our body works perfectly, but it also has its weaknesses.
One such weakness is toxins derived from the environment (food, fluid, air, or skin), which have the ability to impair our DNA, which then cause subsequent physiological damage. However, genetic changes can occur for other reasons than the influence of toxins.
Other triggers include stress, mental shallowness, hormonal and endocrine imbalance, the presence of parasites, viruses, bacteria, excess sugar, the pesticides found in food, heavy metals and the like. Indeed, the physical processes and human psyche, or "body and soul", all form an integrated and interconnected whole. Indeed, functional medicine should thus focus on both areas.
How does the immune system work?
The immune system is constructed so brilliantly that it is able to neutralize and eliminate toxins from the body via the excretory system or during an acute risk by using an elevated temperature, diarrhea or vomiting. However, if the body is exposed to toxins, although in relatively small doses, but regularly, it can cause autoimmune diseases. These are diseases where the immune system begins to fail and erroneously attacks its own tissues.
It is because the constant presence of toxins permanently force the immune system to act. Many autoimmune diseases are triggered by diet, such as the consumption of sugar, gluten from wheat, pesticides, heavy metals or genetically modified foods that lead to changes in the pH of the internal environment.
For example, the use of antacids (during heartburn) may slow down the secretion of an enzyme called pepsin in the stomach, which is necessary for the decomposition of proteins into polypeptides. Such undigested protein then penetrates through the intestinal walls thereby "alarming" the immune system, which regards it as a foreign invader. At this point, the body develops inflammation. Inflammations are basically defense reactions of the body, usually of a short duration. However, the frequent occurrence of inflammation can lead to long-term chronic illness.
According to conventional allopathic medicine, the answer to these diseases is immunosuppressive therapy, meaning immune suppression instead of looking for causes. An example can be drugs like humira or prednisone.
Such treatment though is counterproductive, because it inhibits the ability of our body to defend itself against foreign invaders. Instead of removing the causes, we just use a patch that causes additional side effects. Fortunately, there are all-natural ways to help you detoxify the whole body and strengthen (or optimize) the immune system so that every disease stays far away from you.
Now let's take a look at specific ways and methods to detoxify the body and boost immunity.
Food
You should not consume wheat, gluten, soy, milk, processed and fried foods, any species of genetically modified foods, and if possible you should focus on organic foods. Even many of the previous foods in their natural form are not inflammation-generating. However, due to processing, pasteurization and genetic modifications they are becoming foods which induce disease.
You should also avoid substances such as sugar, aspartame, MSG (monosodium glutamate), trans fats or hydrogenated and hydrogenated vegetable fats. On the other hand, you should incorporate the following foods into your diet:
- healthy fats (coconut oil, avocado oil, linseed oil, hempseed oil, olive oil)
- seeds and nuts
- probiotics (kombucha, Tibetan mushroom, organic kefir and probiotic supplements)
Get a filter based on reverse osmosis at home, which removes residues of drugs, toxins, heavy metals or bacterial spores from the water. An alkaline diet will greatly help. This is on account of the fact that it is low in sodium and, to the contrary, rich in potassium.
Detoxification of the liver and gallbladder
The following foods and tools are suitable for cleansing the liver and gallbladder:
- burdock root
- dandelion root
- Milk Thistle
- beetroot
- Jerusalem artichokes
- garlic
- turmeric or curcumin
- fermented foods
- abdominal patches with castor oil
When cleansing the liver, the amino acids ornithine and Lugol's solution (containing iodine) can be used to support metabolism. It is good to incorporate fresh carrot juice and green apples into the diet for at least a week, which softens any gallstones and prevents their displacement during detox treatments.
You can also do a small shot glass of olive oil mixed with lemon juice and for nighttime use wraps with castor oil on the stomach in the area of the liver This recipe has saved a few people from gallbladder surgery.
Detoxification of the kidneys
Helpful herbs, foods and other substances for cleansing the kidneys include the following:
- horsetail
- ginger
- vitamin B6
- vegetable glycerine
- parsley
- cranberries
- blueberries
- pineapple
- bearberry
Lukewarm water with fresh lemon juice, magnesium, apple cider vinegar and baths in Epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) are extremely effective. Particular attention should be given to pesticides, because they can even cause renal failure at higher intake levels.
Spring detoxification can be started off with the consumption of birch sap for several weeks. For northern and eastern cultures, it was a regular annual ritual, which actually initiated the spring detox process. These customs, which are practically non-existent in our country, may be beneficial for the outflow of toxins from the body of a child. Nothing is preventing us from adopting these thousand-year-old time-proven customs and enriching our own lives and those of our children. I have already mentioned this possibility in the book Strategy for successful upbringing. In order for the curative treatment to be effective, it is good to drink virtually only undiluted fresh birch sap in large quantities for a few weeks (limited only by the length of the period when sap flows from the trees and can be collected in containers). In our country, it is not normally available in stores, however one can gather it on their own for the needs of their family.
Detoxification of the colon
One should ideally have a bowel movement 2 to 3 times a day, the bare minimum is 1 time per day. An excellent resource for colon cleansing is Indian gooseberry. Coffee enemas are also irreplaceable (in children only after consultation with your doctor). If you prefer more traditional means, increase fiber intake. For example, psyllium achieves very good results.
During the cleansing of the colon, drink plenty of clean water, juice of aloe vera, coconut kefir, eat enough plant food (preferably organic), ginger, garlic, fennel or occassionaly ingest medicinal charcoal, which perfectly binds with and removes toxins from the body (medicinal charcoal can cause Lazy bowel syndrome, the best is Enterosgel.) From vitamins, focus primarily on vitamin C and from minerals on magnesium.
Heavy metals
Similarly, as already mentioned for the colon, a very good means for the removal of heavy metals from the body is medicinal charcoal (Enterosgel).
Other ones include:
- coriander
- chlorella
- spirulina
- foods with a high sulphur content (cabbage, onion, garlic, and brussel sprouts)
There is even professional intravenous infusion of chelation. But that must be done by a professional in a medical facility.
Also avoid unnecessary vaccines, many of which contain heavy metals such as mercury or aluminum. Mercury is a potent neurotoxin and can lead to the development of autoimmune disorders, mood disorders and even mental retardation. When choosing a dentist, find one that does not use amalgam fillings (they contain many heavy metals), or pay extra for white fillings.
Parasites
Important means to get rid of parasites:
- black walnut shells and green walnut peels
- wormwood
- cloves
- cinnamon
- garlic
- coconut oil
- medicinal charcoal (Enterosgel)http://www.uspesna-lecba.cz/enterosgel-1-v-detoxikaci-organismu/
- coffee enemas
For enemas, make sure that you use organic coffee, distilled water, sterile instruments and lie on your right side for 10 to 20 minutes during their application.
The lymphatic system
In essence, the lymphatic system is the sewage system of the human body, but unlike the blood system it does not have its own pump (the heart). Therefore, you must be physically active, walk a lot, run or practice yoga to put the lymphatic fluid into motion. Deep breathing, jumping or scrubbing the skin with a terrycloth towel also helps. We should also not forget to mention lymph drainage massage, which can encourage the elimination of toxins from the body as well.
Skin
Body lotions, make-up, deodorants, antiperspirants and perfumes contain many harmful ingredients such as parabens, BHT or other endocrine disrupters. These substances can lead to a hormonal imbalance, endometriosis, fibrosis or even cancer. To stimulate the excretion of toxins from the skin, it is advisable to visit infrared saunas, stimulate sweating, take baths with epsom salt or scrub the dry skin with a towel or brush.
You should also exercise a lot to encourage sweating. If you are a woman, avoid commercial and synthetic hygiene needs, which are highly toxic (napkins and tampons). Instead, use natural substitutes, such as menstrual cups or cotton pads.
Many nutritional specialists argue that one can completely eliminate the use of body lotion or cream after bathing and use natural coconut oil for skin care instead.
Recent studies have also shown that a sufficient level of vitamin D protects one against many types of cancer. This is especially important in the winter when there is little sunshine, so take a vitamin D supplement during this period. Since tanning beds are not exactly the healthiest choice, it is better to spend time in the mountains and try to get a bit of a tan there.
Conclusion
You have to look after your body and health, as well as the health of your children yourself. Nobody will do it for you.
To restore its strength and the proper functioning of individual systems, you must first detoxify and thus help your organs function properly. Keep this in mind whenever illness overtakes you and you want to be healed.
